Girl, 17, suffers life-threatening injuries from single-vehicle crash in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL – A single-vehicle crash that happened Monday left a 17-year-old girl with life-threatening injuries, CBS Chicago reported. 

The collision occurred in the Lakeview district at the 2800 block of North Ashland Avenue around 12 am.

For some unknown reason, the girl lost control of her car and steered off course. Her vehicle went over a curb and slammed into a tree. 

She was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital and remained in critical condition.
