LAKE COUNTY, IL – A car crash left a 29-year-old woman dead in Lake County Saturday morning, Lake & McHenry County Scanner reported.  The collision occurred around 2:08 am at Lake Cook Road. Illinois State Police officials said the woman was thrown from her car and suffered life-threatening injuries.  The woman died on the scene after she slammed her white 2010 Infiniti G37 sedan into an inner bridge wall on I-294 near Deerfield.  State Police are unsure as to why the driver lost control of her car and hit the wall.
