SPRINGFIELD, IL – A solo-vehicle crash in the 800 block of West Monroe Street in Springfield claimed a woman’s life Friday.
The collision happened around 2:30 am, according to The State Journal-Register.
The cause of the crash is unclear. However, the woman succumbed to her life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.
Springfield Police identified her as 30-year-old Elyse Nichole Davis.
