DUPAGE COUNTY, IL – One was left dead after a crash involving a semi-trailer on I-55 Tuesday, ABC 7 Chicago.
The collision occurred before 12:30 p.m. For reasons unknown, a driver of a Dodge car crashed into the rear of a trailer tractor.
It is unclear if the semi-truck driver was hurt. However, the driver of the Dodge succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Part of the interstate was closed and has reopened since.
