Narrative

RANKIN, IL – A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl, both from Paxton, lost their lives to a two-vehicle collision at the junction of State Route 49 and 3550 North Road Tuesday. The exact circumstances of this crash are unclear. The victims were identified as Joseph D. Stallone and Keegynn L. Martinek, who were pronounced dead at the scene. Illinois State Police have not indicated the condition of the other driver. Updates will be posted should they become available.
