CHICAGO, IL – A car crash claimed one man’s life and injured three around 11:50 pm Thursday, ABC 7 Chicago reported.  The collision happened on Hollywood Avenue. A Toyota RAV 4 was struck by a black SUV.  According to Chicago Police, the black SUV was speeding, which could be considered a major factor in Thursday’s crash.  The RAV 4 driver suffered unspecified injuries and was transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center.  Two people, the driver and a passenger from the Sedan sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized at Saint Francis Hospital. The other Sedan passenger, however, died at the scene. 

CHICAGO, IL – A hit-and-run crash caused exterior damage to a Dunkin’ Donuts building Wednesday morning, ABC 7 Chicago reported. The collision happened around 1 am. A Ford Explorer was traveling on West Cermak Road and then turned on Western Avenue. For some unknown reason, it slammed into the Dunkin’ Donuts, breaking the glass door. Police believe the suspects were two men and one woman who fled the scene. Authorities are investigating Wednesday’s crash. The car was removed, no one was harmed, and arrests were not made. CHICAGO, IL – Two people were hospitalized after an SUV crashed into a Chicago home in Jefferson Park Monday, CBS Chicago reported. The cause of the crash was not stated, nor were the names of those injured. In addition, the SUV crashed into a building at 5022 N. Cicero Ave. Citations will be handled. CHICAGO, IL – A I-290 rollover crash injured five people, including one child, around 2:40 am Sunday, ABC 7 reported. Illinois State Police did not state the cause of the collision. However, they did say one person was thrown from their car. Three adults suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. CHICAGO, IL – A multi-vehicle collision at the 4300 block of North Mannheim Road left three injured and one dead Thursday night. FOX 32 Chicago said the crash occurred around 9:35 pm near O’Hare Airport. According to Chicago Police, the collision happened because a Honda Civic driver did not stop at a red light and made a left turn, which caused the vehicle to collide with several cars. CHICAGO, IL – A man was killed after crashing into a Chicago elementary school around 6:50 am Sunday, ABC 7 Chicago reported. The elementary school is located at 1556 E 56th St. It is unknown as to what was the primary factor in Sunday’s crash. CHICAGO, IL – A car crash outside of a Chicago restaurant left six people injured around 10:30 pm Friday, NBC News reported. Uproar, the restaurant’s name, is located at 1252 N Wells St. According to the Chicago Fire Department, a silver Lexus sedan attempted to pass a Toyota Prius going in the same direction. CHICAGO, IL – A hit-and-run crash left a woman with life-threatening injuries in the 11900 block of South Princeton Avenue in Chicago Sunday. FOX 32 Chicago said the collision happened around 12:39 am. A dark-colored sedan slammed into an SUV. The SUV driver was a 27-year-old woman transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center for significant injuries. The Sedan driver left their vehicle and ran away from the scene.
