Montgomery County crash on IL 16 injures 1, kills another

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, IL – One man suffered life-threatening injuries, and another died from a Sunday morning crash on IL 16, FOX 2 Now reported. The collision happened around 7:25 am. Illinois State Police the crash happened because a man was driving under the influence and speeding. As a result, one car went off the road and hit a tree. Police have not released the names of the victims at this time. However, they revealed a 34-year-old person was hospitalized for minor injuries while a 59-year-old man died at the scene.
