Illinois State Trooper injured after getting hit by pickup truck in Wayne County

WAYNE COUNTY, IL – An Illinois State Trooper was injured in a Monday night crash in Wayne County. WTVO said the collision happened before 8 pm. A Gray Dodge truck hit the trooper’s parked car. The hit trooper was helping another trooper at the side of the ride. No injuries were reported for the driver of the Gray Dodge. The driver of the Gray Dodge was identified as Elvie J.
