A pedestrian’s life was claimed after she was hit by two vehicles on I-294 near Central Road in Glenview before 1 a.m. on Saturday, February 25th. Illinois State Police said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 and Traffic Unit 2 both struck the unidentified 31-year-old woman from Des Plaines. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 fled the scene and was later booked into custody. The woman was located on the side of the road.
