CARROLL COUNTY, IL – A crash between a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Chevy Malibu injured four people on Illinois Route 40 in Milledgeville Sunday.
The driver of the Chevy Malibu made a left turn from Route 40 onto Genesee Road when it struck the Jeep, KWQC reported.
The two teenage passengers from the Chevy Malibu – 15 and 16 – were airlifted to a hospital for their injuries.
The Chevy Malibu driver, a 16-year-old teenager, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The teen was fined for not yielding when making a turn and for a Graduated Driver’s License violation.
Two occupants of the Jeep – an 18-year-old adult and a 53-year-old man, the driver of the Jeep – suffered unspecified injuries.
