Narrative
Three people were hurt, and one was left dead after a crash on Illinois State Route 394 and Steger Road in Will County around 12:45 a.m. Monday, November 14th. Troopers said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 was disabled in the right lane of SR-394. Then, for reasons unknown, the driver of Traffic Unit 2 hit the back of Traffic Unit 1’s vehicle. The driver and passenger from Traffic Unit 2 were transported to a hospital for unspecified injuries. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 was also hospitalized, and the passenger of Traffic Unit 1 succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
