MURPHYSBORO, IL – Two men in their 20s were sent to a hospital after the driver collided with a tree and crashed into a ravine along Hickory Ridge Road Monday evening. The driver – 21-year-old Eriks Mota – was sent to a hospital for unspecified injuries and was cited for driving with a suspended license. The passenger, 20-year-old George Douglas, was also sent to a local hospital but then airlifted to another medical facility for treatment.
