OGLE COUNTY, IL – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon in Ogle County.
WTVO said the crash occurred six miles north of Rochelle, east of Route 64 and Mulford Road. Law enforcement said a truck driver failed to yield at an intersection, and, shortly after, the motorcyclist slammed into the driver’s side of the truck.
The driver of the truck, a woman, was unharmed. The motorcyclist, whose name was not released, was a 60-year-old man from Addison. He was transported to a nearby hospital and died.
There were no reports of arrests made for the woman, and the crash is under investigation.
