CLARK COUNTY, IL – A two-vehicle crash in Clark County injured one and claimed the life of another Sunday.
The collision happened on Illinois 1 before 5:30 pm, according to the Tribune-Star. When a Chrysler minivan intended to make a left turn into a driveway, it collided with a Kia Soul.
The two drivers were hospitalized for unspecified injuries.
Illinois State Police identified the Kia Soul driver as a 50-year-old woman, although they did not release her name. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The minivan driver was 26-year-old Jeremiah T. Boswell from Marshall.
Police issued an improper lane usage citation for Boswell.
