One life was claimed following a crash at Samuelson Road and Falcon Road in Rockford before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7th. According to the Winnebago County Coroner, the driver of Traffic Unit 1 did not stop at a stop sign and collided with Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 got trapped under Traffic Unit 2, and gave in to his injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not released the name of the 41-year-old man.
