22-year-old man dies from three-vehicle crash on SB I-39 in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, IL – A Friday afternoon three-vehicle crash on the southbound lanes of I-39 in Marshall County claimed a person’s life. The collision happened around 4:15 pm, the Heart of Illinois ABC reported. A Mercedes Sprinter Van ended up hitting the rear end of a semi-truck. Then a Chevrolet Volt slammed into the Mercedes Sprinter Van and the semi-truck. The Volt driver was later charged for failing to reduce their speed.
